Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Merge Nexa, a Salesforce AppExchange application ("the App"), and this website. By installing or using Merge Nexa, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing Merge Nexa from Salesforce AppExchange or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to do so.

2. The App and License

Merge Nexa grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App within your Salesforce org, subject to any subscription or licensing terms as detailed on the AppExchange listing. You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercialize the App.

3. Your Data and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all data merging, deletion, and modification actions performed using Merge Nexa. Specifically:

• Merge Nexa performs actions on your Salesforce data at your direction
• Record merges and deletions may be irreversible (Salesforce platform limitation)
• We strongly recommend exporting a CSV backup before every merge session
• You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate backups before using the App
• We are not liable for any data loss resulting from use of the App

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the managed package
• Use the App in any way that could damage or overload Salesforce infrastructure
• Circumvent any Salesforce governor limits or security controls

5. AppExchange and Salesforce Terms

Your use of Merge Nexa is also subject to Salesforce's AppExchange Terms of Use and your Salesforce subscription agreement. In the event of any conflict, Salesforce's terms take precedence with respect to the Salesforce platform.

6. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MERGE NEXA BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the AppExchange listing or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
